We arrived to find our personal items missing after returning from a day out. Our reserved room for the second night had issues with key cards not working. Overall, I recommend this hotel.

Everything was fine, the parking was nearby, the room was brand-new and updated. My stay was good, and the entire staff was very helpful and really helpful. The location was perfect and easy, for example, The Art Institute of Chicago was just a short stroll away from the hotel. What's more, it was not far from a fast food restaurant and the tournament and the shop. I loved staying here, nothing to complain about.

I liked nothing about this hotel
By god where should I even start ill try and shorten this down to a paragraph instead of a book. First the front desk people were way under staff and very very rude. And to top that off we call the day before to let them know that we where going to be later than what we put they said ok ill put a note on your request. Once we got there they never even heard of us they never spoke to us or had a reservation from us!?! Then second once we finally got our rooms (about 2 hours later) we walked in both room smelt like someone juat got done smoking in there. The floors where dirty looking the pillow cases were yellow the towels had stains on them. We asked for new ones and they said sorry we only have enough for all the room. An third the paint on the outside of the building was peeling off and underneath the paint was moldy and then I looked more in our room there was black mold on the corners inside our rooms. I honestly felt it would of been cleaner to sleep on the parking lot ground next to the half eaten chicken wings and I have slept in some horrible places in my day.

This hotel is vastly overpriced and quite frankly unfit to stay in.
Door was not secure. Smelled like smoke. Dirty carpeting and shower. Nails popping out of the floor where carpeting ends. It was horrible. I have never written a single negative post anywhere we have ever stayed but felt all should know not to waste your money. We checked in late at night or would have eaten the money and moved anywhere else! You check in and the guy is behind plexiglass. That should have given us the first clue to run.

Exceptionally friendly place, I thoroughly enjoyed kind personnel.
The breakfast was freshly prepared, including bread and yogurt.

We booked last-minute and got a freshly renovated room that was clean & comfy, like new! the staff was friendly, and the location was a short drive to a state park, good dining options, and not far from downtown.
Other travelers had issues with double charges, unfinished rooms under construction, and unhelpful staff. Some found the beds uncomfortable, the heaters loud, and communication difficult due to language barriers.

The person attending the front desk was very polite and friendly.
The interior of the room was terrible...the carpet, tile, walls were in terrible shape. The furniture was so stained, I had to put towels on the chairs just to use them. The hallway outside of the room smelled like urine.

Omg! This place should be torn down! Stained sheets, asked for new sheets and they are stained too. The toilet is not bolted to the floor and the bottom of the door can stil be jarred open even with the door locked. Most disgusting and unsafe place to stay. Review score is a 0.

There is literally not one good thing to say about this hotel-- it was BY FAR the worst hotel I have ever, ever stayed in. Horrible. Awful. Dirty. Falling apart. Scary. Dangerous. I cannot believe that Days Inn continues to allow their company name be used at this property.
What didn't I like? Hmmm... the entire hotel was disgusting, dirty, and completely old and falling apart-- the lobby, the outside, the rooms, the bathrooms-- EVERYTHING WAS AWFUL!.

When I called to tell the motel I would not be in until maybe 4 in the morning he was very rude spoke.poor English and I will never stay there or.make a.reservation with this motel again.. I believe in customer service as priority #1 and doing everything I can to help.them solve the problem. This guy did nothing.of the sort. He was.rude.and.nasty and i.could only pick up a.few.words the whole time I was.on the phone.

It was a place to stay conveniently located.
Room smelled funny, could see light shining around door, bathroom door handle was installed backwards so you could not lock it.
